Casa Gualda Plus Ultra wine is made with select harvested grapes.  They undergo a long maceration to achieve the fullest expression of the old Bobal vines from which they are picked.

AGING | Four-month stay in new French and American oak barrels and 1 year for semi-new barrels.

TASTING NOTES | Attractive cherry red color with violet hues,  full bodied with flavors of spice, herbs, fresh vanilla toast with a hint of smoke and cedar, finish long, robust and elegant. Very potent on the palate with well defined structure, tannins, and a robust, elegant aftertaste.

PAIRING | Strong stews, red meats and cured cheese.
