VINIFICATION AND AGING | Aged 2 years in American and French oak barrels and it continues its rounding in the bottle for 18 months.

TASTING NOTES | The wine has an intense purple red color. It has a gentle entry and elegant finish with very marked toasted flavors of coffee and toffee, good ripe fruit and hints of raisins and blackberries. There are noted of sweet spices; cinnamon, clove and vanilla. This wine has a complexity and potential that demonstrates the uniqueness of the region.

PAIRING | Goes well with vegetables, meats, stews, casseroles and roasts.

2011 was a very dry year, with July being a cool month while August and September were very hot. This meant the grapes were harvested earlier, the result was a highly concentrated structured wine. This is a historic year for Rioja, comparable only to the best vintages
