Casa Gualda | 50th Anniversary Selection

Selected harvest with crushing of the soft grapes and fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature. Long maceration to achieve maximum expression of the vineyard of old Tempranillo vines, adding mixtures of Petit Verdot and Bobal.

AGING | Four-month stay in new French and American oak barrel and 1 year for semi-new barrels.

TASTING NOTES | Attractive cherry red color with violet hues. Wonderful aromas of being cherries, currants and a touch of cinnamon. A full bodied, powerful wine with bright dark fruit and black licorice flavors. Very well structured tannins creating an elegant balance which finishes long and elegant with spicy overtones.

PAIRING | Red meat, wild game, hearty pasta dishes, and aged cheese.
