For over 100 years, Bodega Orfila has offered elegant, structured wines using traditional techniques melded with avant-garde technology. The resulting wines capture the natural essence of the Argentine terroir.  Bodega Orfila is located in the Departmento de San Martin which is roughly 45 km from the city of Mendoza. Their vineyards are located in the Central Valley and Uco Valley. The valley is green and fertile from the abundance of rainfall. The soil is sandy and alluvial on top of clay substructures, it is considered one of the top wine regions of Argentina.

The combination of high elevation, alluvial soils, irrigation sourced from the Andes Mountains, a long growing season ~ over 250 sunny days a year, little rain and vast temperature differences between day and night are all conducive to growing quality wine grapes. These climate and geography elements come together to provide excellent fruit ripening and concentration, developing colors, aromas, flavors and textures resulting in wines that are deep in color, intense in aromas and rich in flavors.
